Basic things to get your Pi on.

The Pi:
1		x Raspberry Pi Model B 512MB RAM
Just the power. You may have a phone charger lying around with a micro USB. It shout be at least 850mA @ 5vDc. It should be something you can dedicate to the Pi. If you don't have one, these are cheap.
1		x USB cable - A/MicroB
1		x 5V 1A (1000mA) USB port power supply - UL Listed
VERY recommended! (should have been built with microSD...)
1		x Low-profile microSD card adapter for Raspberry Pi
This is just to get you going smoothly. If you can download and write to an SD card (or microSD...) it will be cheaper to just buy a blank 4Gb card. Instructions can be found at raspberrypi.org
1		x 4GB SD card for Raspberry Pi preinstalled with Raspbian Wheezy
Audio, video and ethernet cords. If you don't have them, buy some.
1		x 3.5mm Stereo to RCA (Composite Audio) Cable 6 feet
1		x RCA (Composite Video, Audio) Cable 6 feet
1		x Ethernet Cable - 10 ft long
I just use this for demos because it is tiny and travels easy. I recommend a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. If you have something to spare, even if it is PS2, there is an adapter for that.
